BIOGRAPHY
Allison Podsednik was born on January, 18, 1996 in
Houston, Texas to John and LeAnn Podsednik. She has
a younger brother, Shane. Currently, Allison is in the
11th grade at St. Agnes Academy and will graduate in
2014.
Allison started taking gymnastic classes in 2001 at
Cypress Academy and began team competition in 2004.
In 2009, Allison completed in the Western
Championships.
Allison started competing as a level 10 gymnast in 2010.
In 2012, Allison's high scores by event were:
Vault: 9.35
Bars: 9.25
Beam: 9.30
Floor: 9.0
Space City Classic: AA 36.325
Regional Championships: AA 35.85
Currently, Allison is preparing for the upcoming 2013
season. She trains about 30 hours per week at Cypress
Academy in Houston, Texas under coaches Terry and
Tamara Walker. Allison would like to complete at the
intercollegiate level in gymnastics while studying
medicine.
